The Week with Four Saturdays

Did you ever have one of those weeks where you couldn't keep track of what day it was? This was the week with four Saturdays for me. I think I'll wake up and go to church tomorrow.

Doug took a few days off work to make it a long weekend. My parents are on an Asian vacation. They have a beautiful home with several acres in the middle of no where. It's perfect for a get away. We often head out there for a day or even a few nights just to get out of the city. I woke up Thursday morning. Doug was sleeping beside me. It's Saturday, right?

I woke up Friday. Doug was sleeping beside me. It's Saturday, right?

I woke up Saturday. Doug wasn't sleeping beside me. I was sleeping on a twin mattress thrown out on the family room floor to have a slumber party with my girls. Thinking I would sleep on the couch while they shared the mattress. Wrong. All three of us were sleeping on the twin mattress. Apparently, I don't remember things well. Cribs, when available, should be used. There was a crib set up. I did not use it.

Sunday, I woke up. Doug was sleeping across the room.

I'm tired. Very tired. I really don't want to do lesson plans and start school in the morning.

Maybe I should just call it a snow day tomorrow.

Oh wait. The snow is not coming until Tuesday. Whenever that is. :)

Tuesday is close enough to Monday, so I think tomorrow can be a snow day! Can you tell I'm off work???
Love you!

Oh ha!! I just loved this! I felt that way when I woke up this morning. I home school and contemplated skipping it today. Glad I didn't though. I would love a snow day soon, however. {grin} Lovely blog, by the way!

Oh girl...this happened to me like a week ago. I kept thinking I was a day ahead. It was such a weird week.

I can SO relate - my mind has been so tired from overload that I couldn't even figure out a 40% discount on several items for my daughter at Michaels today. I actually started feeling claustrophobic from all the snow (with more coming!), so we went shopping for some projects. I hope you get some GOOD rest soon! Miki

Isn't that a great feeling!? I love when I think it's a day ahead than it really is, such a great surprise. Totally laughed out loud about the 'cribs, when available, should be used' Very true! :) So glad that Doug was able to take some time off and you were able to get out of the city for a couple days! Love the snow day idea. :)
